Speak English with confidence, wherever life takes you.

Where are you going next?
Most people come to me before a trip. We rehearse the airport, the hotel, the café and the small talk, so the real thing feels familiar.
From Moscow classrooms to lessons from anywhere
I graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Lomonosov Moscow State University, then spent years teaching in Moscow language schools and kids’ clubs and writing English programmes for young learners.
Later I taught at a school in Bali. Now I teach online full-time while living in Asia. Travel is a big part of my life, which is why I love getting people ready for theirs.
My lessons are communicative: you speak from the very first minute. I use an interactive platform with Cambridge and Oxford courses and add real-life materials, so English feels useful, not academic.
Languages: English C1 · Russian native · Serbian and French A2

The cosiest speaking club on Zoom
Once a week we get together to talk about everyday life: autumn rituals, social batteries, a good film. You get a short list of useful phrases before each meeting, so you never walk in empty-handed.

It all started offline in Nha Trang: brunch after every club and a karaoke night or two!

“The cosiest speaking club! The topics suited everyone, I didn’t even notice the time go by.”
I’m a regular at the Speaking Club and I love its atmosphere, the community and the always-relevant topics. You can say what you really think, share your experience or just think out loud. At every meeting I pick up new words, phrases and expressions. So glad I can spend my time in a way that’s both enjoyable and useful!
Thank you so much for the club! I was really nervous: I barely hear English these days and haven’t practised in ages. I’m glad there was material to prepare with, I went through it several times so I wouldn’t worry about the topic. The atmosphere was light and friendly, and thank you for helping with even the simplest words that slipped my mind. Not a drop of awkwardness, and my brain started switching back into English (even if I mixed up every tense possible).
I’m delighted with the Speaking Club, and with our lesson on Friday too. Thank you so much for all the support and positivity. I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much!
Tanya’s speaking club is a place where speaking English feels comfortable and not scary at all. I’m a little afraid of speaking, but the whole time I felt confident and at ease. Thanks to the fun tasks I lost track of time, as if I were playing a game. Those ninety minutes gave me so much positive energy.
I really enjoy talking at our Speaking Club. Even people who don’t love shopping had a great time discussing Black Friday! I can feel I’m no longer afraid to speak. I’m learning to find the right words faster and build sentences with the vocabulary I have. A wonderful atmosphere and support from everyone.
Little lessons from my blog

Is your social battery running low?
Six phrases for introverts, extroverts and everyone in between, from “I’m a people person” to “I’d rather stay in tonight”.

Hygge, social batteries and a film: September at the speaking club
Three Saturdays, three topics: autumn hygge, social batteries and the film Chocolat. Here is what we talked about.

4 expressions to talk about your summer
Make the most of it, have the time of your life, soak up the sun and get away from it all. With examples and Russian translations.
What happens on the free intro call?
We meet on video for 15–20 minutes, chat a little in English, check your level and talk about your goals. Then I suggest a format and a plan. No obligation.
What level do I need?
Most of my adult students are between A2 and B2: you know the basics, but speaking still feels hard. Not sure about your level? We’ll check it together on the intro call.
Do you teach children?
Yes, kids and teens too. I hold the Cambridge TKT Young Learners certificate (Band 4) and have taught in Moscow kids’ clubs and at a school in Bali. Lessons for children cost the same as 1-to-1 lessons. Tell me your child’s age and level and I’ll suggest a format.
How do lesson packages work?
You can book a single lesson or a package of 4 or 8. Packages cost less per lesson: four 60-minute lessons are $115 instead of $120, and eight are $215 instead of $240.
Where do the lessons take place?
Online, on video, using an interactive platform with Cambridge and Oxford course materials. All you need is a laptop or tablet and a stable connection. The speaking club meets on Zoom.
